Elopement Photography Iceland | Day Before Session at a Secret Waterfall
Day before sessions are something we love to do. What better place to do them than at a secret waterfall in Iceland?
We’re so happy that Claire and Jordan decided to do one while we were there. Not only did we find a killer spot to do photos at, but they got a little bit of the “pre-wedding jitters” out of the way!
The popular waterfalls in Iceland are often crowded, and had this place all to ourselves!
Why do a Day Before Session?
Being a little camera shy is normal for most couples, so the day before sessions really help.
These sessions can be just the two of you alone, or the whole family can join.
Some of our couples will have us come to the rehearsal dinner, a day before brunch, or even just a fun get together with family and friends, like an evening around the campfire.
The more we are around you before the wedding, and the more we get to know you (and your friends and families) before the wedding, the better!
We happen to think our clients are pretty awesome, so spending time with them outside of the wedding day is helpful. It is important to us to help capture genuine emotions and intimate moments.
If you’re a city person but love getting out in nature, how about a session hiking around a local park?
Or if you’re getting married in a destination place as Claire and Jordan did, we’d LOVE to tag along!
You could do either a day before session or a day after session in your wedding attire. These can be super fun because all the pressure is behind you. You can let your hair down a bit!
You don’t need to worry about tons of clothing changes to get different looks.
Think layers, hats, and accessories. Especially if we are going to a remote location where there may be no place to change and carrying things could be cumbersome.
No matter if you choose to do your session before your wedding or after, we’re here to help you with your session to make the experience amazing.
Choose your own adventure! We can’t wait to work with you!
